Your whole restaurant in one app: control for your guests, your staff and your back office

Your whole restaurant in one app: control for your guests, your staff and your back office

Most restaurants live scattered across paper tickets, a spreadsheet, a group chat and the owner’s memory. For Almendro, a restaurant and specialty coffee bar, we built a single app that pulls it all together: the one the guest uses to see the menu and order, and the panel that runs the business. Here’s a look inside.

One app that holds everything

This isn’t one app for the guest and another for the business: it’s a single app that adapts to whoever opens it. Your guest sees the menu, their loyalty points and their orders; your staff takes orders and works the tables; and you see sales, inventory and expenses. Everything that happens in one view feeds the others in real time, with nothing entered twice.

What your guest sees

Your customer opens the app and the first thing they see is the menu, with a photo, description and price for every dish. From there they can book a table, order takeout or delivery, and check the loyalty card with the stamps they have collected toward their next free dessert. No more PDF menus nobody opens.

When a guest orders takeout or delivery, that order doesn’t get lost in a chat thread: it goes straight to your team with the payment method and a status that moves from new to in progress to delivered, the same way you would fire a ticket to the kitchen. And once it’s delivered, it already counts as a sale.

A host powered by artificial intelligence

Inside the app, your guest has Almendra: an AI assistant that knows your menu backwards and forwards. It recommends what to order based on what they like, tells them which wine or drink pairs best with their cut, warns them if a dish contains gluten or another allergen, tells them how many stamps they have toward their reward, walks them through booking a table and even takes their takeout or delivery order. This isn’t a generic chatbot: it answers using your menu and that specific guest’s information.

The point of sale that feeds everything else

The heart of the business is the point of sale. Every table shows whether it’s open or occupied, how much has been rung up and where it stands (taking the order, in the kitchen, ready to close). You take cash or card from the same screen, and in that instant the sale is recorded, inventory drops and the day’s report updates. Nothing entered twice.

The app is your point of sale. That’s why the reports are real: they come from every check you close, not from what someone remembered to write down.

Reports that build themselves

Today’s sales, average check, the week’s sales and your best-selling dishes. It all adds up on its own with every payment, so when you open the reports you see the real picture of the business without having filled in a single spreadsheet. Exactly what you need to decide which dish to push and which one to cut.

Inventory, expenses and suppliers

Inventory runs at the ingredient level: every time you sell a dish, the app deducts the meat, the coffee or whatever it takes, and warns you when something is running low so you can order before you run out. Expenses are logged by category and the app gives you the month’s profit with its margin, plus a spreadsheet ready to send to your accountant. And when it’s time to restock, you generate the supplier order from the same app.

  • Table-by-table point of sale with cash or card payment
  • Digital menu you edit yourself, with reservations and delivery orders
  • Loyalty program with stamps and points for your regulars
  • Automatic sales reports and best-selling dish rankings
  • Ingredient-level inventory that draws down with every sale
  • Expenses, monthly profit and a spreadsheet export for your accountant
  • Suppliers and restock order generation

Built for your restaurant

Almendro is one example, but the app is built around how your business actually runs: a specialty coffee bar, a taqueria, a bar or a neighborhood diner. You decide which tools you need and we assemble them, with your brand and your menu. This isn’t a generic template: it’s your operation, in the pockets of your team and your customers.

Do you run a restaurant, a bar or a coffee shop? Want to see it working in an app like this? Tell us how you operate and we’ll show you what it would look like built for you.
